I vacillate between checking out all the not too horrible things which may help us live long and well and alternatively deciding pleasure is actually important and may be more important than all that stuff. We used to get fantastic lardy cake once.
I've just thrown away all the clippings I'd taken about self-improvement and preservation, and donated all so called self-help books to charity. Completely useless now, and not much help at the time! Onwards with the Pursuit of Pleasure is what I say. Apparently the lardy cake from our village bakery is the World's best ever, so they say!
